☀️HAPPY LDOC LOVELY SALEMITES! ☀️ . . . And a special shoutout to our final senior, Julia Herrera! Julia has been a photographer with for the Salemite since her sophomore year! She majored in Creative Writing and Communications with minors in Criminal Studies and Sociology. . . . She hopes to go into a huge Hispanic television broadcasting station or to start off small and then go to the big league! . . . Thanks for all of your hard work and beautiful photos Julia! 🎓🗞️🐿️

Happy Friday Salemites! Did you see our paper yesterday? If not, no worries they're still all over campus! . . . Our senior of the week is the wonderful Denae Rabinette! Denae is a Criminal Studies major who will be moving to Nashville, TN to work as a Transportation Security Officer at the Nashville International Airport! During her time there she will also be working to get her Master of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management! . . . Denae has spent the last two years with us as a staff writer and Arts & Entertainment section editor! You'll be greatly missed Denae! 🎓🗞️🐿️

Join us in congratulating Dionne Boone! . . . Dionne has been on staff with us since her first year here at Salem and serves as our witty and talented comic artist! She is a Design major with a concentration in Graphics with a minor in Studio Art and Visual Entrepreneurship. Happy Holidays from the Salemite! Our incredible staff members will be wrapping gifts with old copies of @the_salemite in the Refectory during lunch (12-1:30) on Monday (12/3) and Tuesday (12/4)! Bring your gifts and 'pay what you can' to have them wrapped! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------All proceeds will be donated to Bethesda Center for the Homless! We will also be collecting items from their 'urgent needs' list: (Cans of Lysol, Disinfecting Wipes, Toilet Paper, Ziploc Bags (Sandwich & Quart), Dispoable Razors, Liquid Hand Soap, Hand Sanitizer, 39 gl Trash Bags, Ready to Eat Meals (Mac-n-Cheese, Vienna Sausages, etc...), Wash Clothes/Towels, Cases of Water) We'll see you in the Refectory Soon ! 🎁🐿️
